Daikon and Pork no Nimono

Ingredients
  

  • sesame oil
  • 150 g thinly sliced pork
  • 200 g daikon
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon dashi powder
  • 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 Tablespoon mirin

Instructions
 

  • Cut daikon and move it to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 5-6 minutes.
  • Cut the thinly sliced pork.
  • In a pot, add sesame oil and the pork. Cook until the pork is no longer pink.
  • Add the daikon and cook for another moment.
  • Add water, dashi powder, soy sauce, and mirin to the pot and bring it to a boil.
  • Use aluminum foil as an Otoshibuta. Cook until the sauce reduces.
