Foil Wrapped Salmon

Ingredients
  

  • 35 g large carrot
  • 1/6 large onion 1/6 is about 27-33 g (Change depending on how many Serving you set)
  • 3 slices lemon slice This is optional but adding a little lemon gives you more flavor.
  • 2 Cremini mushrooms Pick your favorite mushrooms. I love Cremini mushrooms because it is soaked in flavor easy.
  • 1/4 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 salmon 1 salmon is about 180-200g
  • 3 g butter
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon soy sauce HERE to buy
  • 1 teaspoon sake HERE to buy
  • 1/3 tsp freshly ground black pepper

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (205°C).

Let's cook (*this is a one person recipe, if you want to make 2 or more, please copy the same process!)

  • Cut carrot, onion, lemon and mushroom thinly.
  • Prepare a 10” x 10” (25 x 25 cm) aluminum foil sheet. Add olive oil where salmon goes to avoid sticking salmon and aluminum foil.
  • Add the onion first, then salmon on top. Add butter, mushrooms, and carrots on top of the salmon.
  • Before adding other ingredients, let's close the sides of the foil tightly. After closing sides, top is open.
  • From top, add sake, soy sauce, black pepper, and lemon. Close the top of the foil tightly.

To cook

  • Put the foil wrapped salmon on top of a cake pan.
  • Add the pan to the preheated oven and cook for 15 minutes.

Let's eat!

  • After 15 minutes, take out from the oven. Open the foil.
