Chinjao Rosu

Chinjao Rosu is a popular Chinese food in Japan. Made from beef(or pork), green pepper, and bamboo shoots then stir fried it is loved by so many generations in Japan. Because it's so popular, there are some instant Chinjao Rosu packs that you can buy at any grocery store in Japan and make it literally in 15-20 minutes! But you can also make it on your own :)

Ingredients
  

  • 100 g thinly sliced beef or thinly sliced pork
  • 1/2 green pepper 1/2 is about about 85-100 g (Change depending on how many Serving you set)
  • 100 g bamboo shoot HERE is to buy bamboo shoot
  • 1 Tablespoon sake for soak
  • 1/2 Tablespoon potato starch or Katakuriko Here to buy

Seasoning

  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil HERE to buy
  • ½ Tablespoon sake HERE to buy
  • 1 teaspoon torigara soup base HERE is to buy torigara soup base
  • 2/3 Tablespoon oyster sauce HERE to buy
  • 1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 pinch sugar or add as much as you want
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper It's option. Add as much as you want

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Cut the green pepper in half lengthwise and then slice thinly.
  • Cut the bamboo shoot thinly.
  • In a bowl, add thinly sliced beef and sake and mix them well. Then add katakuriko (potato starch) in the bowl. Mix thoroughly.

Let's cook!

  • In a medium pan, turn the heat to medium and add sesame oil, and thinly sliced beef. Stir fry until almost no longer pink.
  • Turn the heat to hight. Add the cut green pepper, bamboo shoot, sake, torigara soup base, oyster sauce, soy sauce, and sugar. Cook until the green pepper is cooked.
  • Add black pepper to finish and turn the heat off.

Let's eat!

  • This is great with rice :)
