Meet Yuka, the author who created Oishi Book
Oishi Book was created by Yuka who is a Japanese food lover. She was born in Japan and lives in New York City now.
Yuka had a difficult time when she first arrived in the US because it is not always easy to access Japanese food. Over time she found the best Japanese recipes that were easy to make, tasted just like homemade food back in Japan, and that she could make with ingredients easily available in the US.
She thinks there are so many people who want to try to cook Japanese food but they think it is difficult to make so they give up. Because of that, she wanted to make a website that people can access to make Japanese food easily and they can enjoy often.
Oishi Book’s recipes are easy to try and explained using simple steps! So even people who don’t have confidence to cook should try!
