Daikon and Pork no Nimono
Ingredients
- sesame oil
- 150 g thinly sliced pork
- 200 g daikon
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon dashi powder
- 1 Tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 Tablespoon mirin
Instructions
- Cut daikon and move it to a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 5-6 minutes.
- Cut the thinly sliced pork.
- In a pot, add sesame oil and the pork. Cook until the pork is no longer pink.
- Add the daikon and cook for another moment.
- Add water, dashi powder, soy sauce, and mirin to the pot and bring it to a boil.
- Use aluminum foil as an Otoshibuta. Cook until the sauce reduces.
