Sesame dressing is one of my favorites that you should add to your list of homemade salad dressing ideas! It makes simple salad delicious and kids especially love this dressing.
Today, I introduce Goma dare (sesame dressing), one of the famous salad dressings everyone uses in Japan. You can find it at any grocery store in Japan but it is surprisingly difficult to find in the states. Luckily, you can make it easily by yourself at home!

Sesame dressing
Sesame dressing is one of my favorites that you should add to your list of homemade salad dressing ideas! It makes simple salad delicious and kids especially love this dressing.

- In a pan, add sesame seeds and toast them with low heat. When a few sesame seeds start popping, turn the heat off and move it to a small bowl.
- Grind the toasted white sesame seeds until smooth. It doesn't need be completely smooth.
- In the bowl, add all the ingredients (sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and mayonnaise) and mix well.
- Add on top of salad!
